What is the difference between "Home Management" services and "Personal Care" services?

What makes Guardian different from other home care providers?
Guardian is unique in-home care because we are committed to the care of the whole person. While other home care providers, such as the ones associated with hospitals, provide quality medical care, our caregivers are there not only to provide medical care, but to assist the person in whatever way possible. Through this approach, many clients have seen a vast improvement in health.
How are services scheduled?
At the time of inquiry of services, potential clients indicate what type of services (home management, personal care, etc.) are desired and the frequency of services. After that, the client can adjust at any time by contacting Guardian's office or Guardian's owners, Allan and Sonya Borg. For the client's and their family's convenience, schedules are usually planned ahead a month at a time, though these may change at client's discretion.
I only need help a couple hours a week with some basic tasks. Is home care for me?
Yes! Guardian regularly helps clients who need only occasional help with daily living tasks. If you would like to know more about how we can help you, please contact us.
I am a family member who is the primary caregiver. Can Guardian provide relief care?
Guardian absolutely can provide care to a loved one who is ordinarily cared for by a family member. We understand that all care givers, even family member care givers, may need relief from time to time or need to attend some event or appointment. We will work with you to ensure that your loved one receives the same level of care that you give to them so you can have peace of mind during your time away.

How is my caregiver chosen?
When setting up services, Guardian will ask you what preferences you have for a caregiver. From there, we select a caregiver that matches your preferences. If you ever are not comfortable with your caregiver for any reason, please contact us, and we will address the issue or provide a different caregiver. |
