In-Home Health Aid Job Application Process

Experienced caregivers are welcome to apply for our elderly caregiver jobs in Glencoe, Minnesota, at any time. We have positions in and surrounding the Glencoe area and would love to have you join our team!

1. SUBMIT RESUME AND REFERENCES​

Application process begins with you filling out an application online or emailing your resume and three references (two professional, one personal) or Application to [email protected]. ​

2. Background Study

In order to work with any client, applicants need to first pass a background check. Applicants should first review the Background Study Privacy Notice and then fill out the Background Study Information  Once you have completed the form, please bring it to the Guardian office or email it to [email protected].
After the Department of Human Services process your background study, they will send a letter to both Guardian and you informing if you are able to provide services. 

3. Interview

If your application materials show that you would be able to provide Guardian's Gold Standard in Home Health Care, a phone screen will follow. If the phone screen goes well, applicants will be invited to an in-person interview.  Generally, interviews are held at Guardian's office in Glencoe, MN. 

For the interview, please bring a copy of all licenses and certificates, including health related certificates/licenses and driver's license.

4. Orientation

If hired, you will need to provide the following at your orientation, which is normally held at Guardian's office in Glencoe, MN.
  • Document(s) verifying employment eligibility to be used to complete an I-9 such as a social security card and driver's license
  • Copy of all licenses, certificates, and evidence of training
  • Recent two-step screening results of Tuberculosis
  • Copy of current auto insurance card if you will be transporting clients in your vehicle
  • Voided check if you wish to have your paycheck direct deposited
